- Applicants must have completed or be in the process of completing a degree or diploma acceptable to the University of Oxford.
- Applicants must have already met or be on track to meet the degree requirements for their chosen undergraduate program.
- Applicants must have already met or be on track to meet the university's English language requirements for their chosen undergraduate programme.
- Applicants must also meet the selection criteria of “compatibility, excellence, innovation, collaboration, perseverance, and integrity.”
- Applicants must demonstrate a fit through their experience and achievements in one of EIT's four sectors, which include "Health and Medical Sciences, Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture, Climate Change and Clean Energy, and Government Innovation in the Age of Artificial Intelligence."

How to apply for the Ellison Undergraduate Scholarship Program in 2026:
The application process consists of 4 steps:
- Step 1: Submit an online application to the Ellison Scholars Program.
- Create an account on the application portal.
- Enter your personal and contact information.
- Enter your education details.
- Upload a copy of your passport or national identity document.
- Upload a passport-sized photo of yours.
- Provide the name and email address of three referees.
- Answer all other questions on the form.
- Select the undergraduate course you want to study at the University of Oxford.
- Submit your profile (including awards, research projects, training, scholarships, advocacy campaigns, volunteer work, etc.)
- Answer questions related to the topic of “Diversity and Inclusion.”
- Read and agree to the terms and conditions by clicking the checkboxes.
- Click "Submit" to submit your request.
- Step 2: Applications will be reviewed and semi-finalists will be selected.
- Step 3: Selected applicants apply for admission to their chosen course at the University of Oxford, which has a separate admissions process and criteria.
- Step 4: Finalists who receive an offer from the University of Oxford will participate in a final selection process conducted by EIT faculty members.
