Benefits of the HAN Scholarship 2025-2026 in the Netherlands:

For Bachelor's degree applicants:

• HAN NL Scholarship:  €2,500 awarded in the first and second semesters, then €2,500 per year for the following three years, subject to 45 credits being earned each year.
• Honors Scholarship:  Automatically awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence in their first year of study. A scholarship of €2,500 is awarded in the second year and each academic year thereafter, subject to completing 45 credit hours annually. Eligible students include those who meet the minor requirements, as well as students who do not hold a HAN Holland Scholarship.

For Master's degree applicants:

• HAN NL Scholarship:  €2,500 in the first and second semesters, for a total of €5,000.
• Excellence Scholarship:  Automatically awarded to outstanding students in their first year. This one-time scholarship of €2,500 is disbursed in the second semester. Eligible students are those who have not previously received a HAN Holland Scholarship.

Eligibility criteria for the HAN Scholarship 2025-2026:

• Applicants must be citizens of a country outside the EU/EEA.
• Applicants must not have previously been enrolled in a degree program at a university or university of applied sciences in the Netherlands.
• Provide proof of enrollment in a full-time undergraduate degree program taught in English at HAN University of Applied Sciences.
• Proof of English language proficiency by obtaining an IELTS score of at least 6.5, a TOEFL iBT score of at least 90, or a Cambridge certificate (CAE or CPE).
