Grant duration:
The National Grants Programme in the Slovak Republic is a short-term funding program for research at higher education institutions in Slovakia.
The grant duration for undergraduate students is 1–2 full semesters (i.e., 4–5 or 9–10 months) or 1–3 full semesters if the academic year is divided into three semesters (i.e., 3–4, 6–7, or 9–10 months).
The grant duration for doctoral students is 1–10 months.
The grant duration for professors, researchers, and artists is also 1–10 months.
Eligibility criteria:
All international students from around the world are eligible.
Undergraduate students at universities outside of Slovakia are eligible.
Note: This scholarship is not a full-time scholarship for Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degrees.
It includes students in the second level of higher education (Master's students) or students who have completed at least 2.5 years of undergraduate study in the same program by the application deadline.
