Summer internship duration at the World Bank Treasury Department
The Treasury Summer Internship Program is a full-time, ten-week program, running from May 26 to August 3, 2026. The internship will take place in Washington, D.C.
Treasury Summer Training Scholarship and Benefits
Trainees will be paid on an hourly basis:
- Non-US citizens: Receive a net wage of $21.80 per hour .
- US citizens: receive a gross wage of $26.20 per hour .
- Each trainee will receive a laptop from the World Bank.
- The World Bank will sponsor the visa, if necessary.
Eligibility criteria
- Training is open to all nationalities.
- You must be in your third year of a four-year undergraduate program. If you are in a five-year program, you are in your fourth year.
- Your major must be in finance, business administration, economics, or a similar field. Formal studies in finance are not required.
- You must be available to work full-time during the training period.
- Be honest in your request.
