a description

This short-term project (58 days of activity + 2 travel days) provides young people with the opportunity to support the social inclusion of people with disabilities through a series of community activities developed in collaboration with the Valle Association. This volunteer project, taking place in the municipalities of Dúrcal and El Badul (Granada, Spain), will involve 10 participants over two months during the summer of 2025. Volunteers will contribute to a variety of inclusive initiatives, including assistance in daycare centers, support for shelters and supported living apartments, participation in leisure and summer holiday activities, and participation in awareness-raising workshops. The project fosters teamwork, empathy, and personal development, while promoting values of solidarity and inclusion in the local community.

Accommodation, food and transportation arrangements

Each volunteer will receive a living allowance of €200 per month and €6 per day as pocket money. Travel expenses are covered according to the distance range specified in the European Solidarity Corps Program Guide, based on the number of kilometers between the volunteer's place of residence and Badul. Volunteers are required to cover travel costs in advance, which will be reimbursed within two to four months of successful project completion, provided all necessary supporting documents are submitted. Accommodation will be provided in shared rooms (for both genders).
