Program structure and duration
- Seminar Modules (approximately six months): Focused seminars and workshops, both theoretical and practical, covering modern journalism skills. Topics include television program management, multimedia storytelling, data journalism, social media, virtual reality, and working with artificial intelligence tools.
- Editorial internship (approximately 9 months): Practical work experience in various DW editorial departments in Bonn and Berlin.
- Job opportunities in foreign bureaus: Job opportunities in one of DW's international correspondent bureaus (e.g., Washington, Brussels, Delhi, Jakarta).
- Optional Training: Often includes training with a broadcast partner or external training at the trainee's choice.
