The EU4Ocean Summer School in Italy 2025 is a 5-day training program on ocean knowledge and cooperation. The aim of this fully funded summer school is to develop the necessary skills and promote collaborative work in the design and implementation of ocean-related projects. The EU4Ocean program in Venice will focus on the Mediterranean and the Black Sea and will highlight nature-based solutions as a key theme.
The UNESCO Internship Program is open to both EU Member States and non-Member States of the Mediterranean and Black Sea Region. During this programme, participants will be prepared to guide cultural transformation in ocean sciences, promoting interdisciplinarity, equality, inclusion, diverse knowledge structures, and global understanding. The summer programme will provide a unique platform for interaction with other participants and diverse experts.
During this summer school in Italy, participants will exchange knowledge and experiences with each other and gain the skills needed to advance in the ocean profession. Trainees will also play their part in global efforts for a sustainable ocean future. The program will introduce participants to various international initiatives, support youth efforts, and explore innovative approaches to improve communication on ocean projects.
