The Applications are now open for the FASPE Fellowship 2026. It is a Fully Funded two-week study program in Berlin and Poland. The Fellowship is open to enrolled students, recent graduates, and early career professionals from around the world. There are no restrictions on nationality. The FASPE Fellowship is about Professional ethics and ethical leadership. It explores how Doctors, Lawyers, journalists, and people from other professions in the past used their skills to help the Nazi rule. The program’s core message is that being a professional isn’t just about technical skills; it’s also about ethical leadership. Fellowship Objectives and Overview

Objective 1: Learning from History

  • Studying the Past: The program examines how people in different professions - such as doctors, lawyers, and journalists - behaved in Nazi Germany.
  • Focus on choices: This is not just a history lesson, but why these individuals, who were supposed to be guided by a professional code of ethics, made choices that supported or contributed to horrific events.

Objective 2: Apply it today

  • Face Today's Problems: The fellowship then uses these historical examples as a starting point to help you think about the major ethical challenges you face in your career now.
  • Be a Better Leader: The goal is to help you develop the skills and courage needed to become an ethical leader in your field, so you can make good decisions and stand up for what's right.

Tour to historical sites 

Fellows will also visit key sites of Nazi history and participate in daily seminars led by specialist faculty members.
