IAPS AI Policy Fellowship 2025 in USA (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the 2025 IAPS AI Policy Fellowship in the United States . This is a fully-funded, three-month fellowship in Washington, D.C., or fellows can choose to study remotely. Additionally, all selected fellows are required to travel to Washington, D.C. for a two-week residency from September 1–12, 2025. Following the residency, fellows can choose to complete the fellowship in person in Washington, D.C. or remotely. The program will run from September 1–November 21, 2025. This fellowship aims to empower people from diverse backgrounds to develop AI policy projects and work with experts to enhance their skills in developing practical rules for the positive and negative aspects of AI.   • Senior Fellows : Salary of $22,000

Program dates

  • From September 1 to September 12, 2025: All Fellows will travel to Washington, D.C. for 12 days.

  • To participate remotely, we welcome everyone from all over the world.
  • To work in Washington, D.C., for three months, only applicants with legal work rights may apply.
  • Candidates will be selected based on experience and specialization.
