Applications are now open for the 2026 internship program at the RIKEN Center for Integrative Medical Sciences (RIKEN IMS)  in Japan . This fully funded internship program  for international students lasts from one to three months . Students from all over the world are eligible to apply, and the program is open to Master's, PhD, and postdoctoral students . There are no application fees , and IELTS is not required. The internship program aims to provide participants with research experience in a world-class scientific environment within RIKEN's laboratories. Program focus

The program aims to create a new research field for integrative medical science, which includes medical sciences at the genomic level, immunology and physiology, bioinformatics, molecular, biochemical and quantitative sciences.

Eligibility criteria

• The training is available to all citizens.
• Open to Master's, PhD or Medical students.
• Open to young postdoctoral researchers who have not been out of their PhD for more than three years.
• Applicants are required to be enrolled in an academic institution for the entire duration of the proposed training.
