The American University in Cairo (AUC) is now accepting applications for its 2026-2027 scholarships for international students pursuing Master's and Doctoral degrees. These scholarships cover full tuition fees, health insurance, a monthly stipend , student housing, and a laptop computer.
There is no admission to graduate studies in the winter semester. Admission to graduate degree programs is limited to the fall and spring semesters only. Applicants without a degree for summer graduate programs must follow the application procedures for non-degree admission and submit their applications before the deadlines for admission in the following semester.

The application for the Spring 2026 fellowship will be open to all graduate students pursuing a degree who wish to apply for a fellowship between October 8, 2025 and October 29, 2025.
Fellowship Program Schedule (Fall 2026)
There are two application cycles for the fellowship for Fall 2026:
- The first fellowship cycle begins on December 21, 2025 and ends on January 18, 2026.
- The second fellowship cycle begins on April 2, 2026 and ends on May 3, 2026.

- Strong academic potential with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent.

- Possessing maturity, flexibility, and leadership potential, which is demonstrated in a combination of extracurricular activities, recommendations, and interviews.
- Financial need.
- The fellowship is awarded for two years, in addition to any remedial courses in academic English that may be required, with a review each semester of satisfactory academic performance.
