Global South Study Week 2025 is a unique opportunity for young community activists from the Global South. The fully-funded program will take place in Beirut for one week in November 2025. Participation in this program is completely free of charge, with no application or other fees required. The program will also cover travel and accommodation costs for selected participants.
The theme of the Global South Study Week in Beirut, Lebanon, is "Alternatives in Governance and Sustainable Human Development," and it invites young people working in areas including climate, governance, gender inequality, sustainable human development, international politics, and diplomacy. During the international youth program, participants will have the opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions with fellow activists from the Global South. They will also join the Study Week alumni network.
The Global Advocacy Program is designed for passionate young people with educational backgrounds in development, economics, political or social sciences, international relations, or human rights. This fully-funded international program provides activists with an exciting opportunity to enhance their advocacy efforts and engagement at the national, regional, and global levels.

Eligibility criteria for the Global South Study Week in Beirut 2025:
- Applicants must be under 40 years old.
- Applicants must be from a Global South country.
- They must hold a university degree in development, economics, political or social sciences, international relations, or human rights.
- Candidates must be endorsed by a local, national or regional NGO.
- Applicants must work in advocacy in the areas of development, multilateralism, global governance, debt, trade and investment, tax justice, social justice, climate change, biodiversity, agriculture, or gender justice.
