Program objectives
- KATİP offers a Turkish language course for diplomats, officials, and academics, an immersive experience in Turkish language and culture.
- Participants visit cities such as Istanbul , Konya , and Çanakkale to experience Turkey's rich cultural heritage.
- They also make institutional visits to various ministries , universities and think tanks to meet with Turkish professionals and officials .
Eligibility criteria
- Nationality and Residence: Must not be a Turkish citizen or resident in Turkey at the time of application.
- Public employees: At least three years of work experience in a relevant institution, with preference given to those with a master's or doctoral degree.
- Researchers/Scientists: Must be employed at a university or research center and hold a doctoral degree or be continuing their studies. Preference will be given to those conducting research on topics related to Turkey.
- Language proficiency: The applicant must be proficient in English (speaking and listening).
- Maximum age: You must be under 40 years old as of January 1, 2025.
