Applications are now open for the 2025 UNEP Georgetown Fellowship. It is a fully-funded fellowship in the United States to pursue an LLM degree in Environmental and Energy Law at Georgetown University Law Center and gain three months of international internship experience with the United Nations at UNEP headquarters in Kenya or any regional offices. The purpose of the UNEP Georgetown Fellowship is to train public sector lawyers from developing countries working in environmental law, natural resource law, or related legal fields, to advance the rule of environmental law. There is no application fee and the fellowship covers tuition, stipend , airfare , health insurance, and textbooks . The UNEP Georgetown Fellowship offers a US-based LLM degree and three 3-month internships. More details are provided below.
