Applications are now open for the 2025 Youth Innovation Challenge. This fully-funded event will be held in Taiwan . Selected applicants will be invited to Taipei, Taiwan, in October 2025 to receive the award and prize. All expenses related to travel, meals, and accommodation in Taiwan will be covered . The Youth Innovation Challenge invites applicants from around the world to propose innovative solutions for marine conservation. This program is launched by the Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP), in collaboration with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Taiwan's Ministry of the Environment, the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE), and Taiwan's Ocean Conservation Administration (OCA). Program objective
The program invites individuals from around the world to propose solutions to address marine issues, including environmental conservation, biodiversity, and marine litter. Solutions can incorporate a variety of approaches, including environmental education. Solutions must be innovative, feasible, and based on scientific research.
Eligibility criteria
- Nationality : Open to all citizens.
- Eligibility: Young leaders and innovators between the ages of 15 and 30.
- There is no IELTS.
- There is no application fee.
Timeline
- July-August 2025: Application review.
- September 2025: Notification of finalists and winners.
- October 2025: The winners attend the award ceremony in Taiwan.
