Advantages and conditions of the scholarship: -

The scholarship program is limited to students accepted into the university from outside the United Arab Emirates only.

The student accepted from outside the country receives a monthly stipend determined by the university (according to the laws and regulations).

The monthly stipend is disbursed in the summer semester for registered students only, and those accepted from outside the country (study is optional in the summer semester).

The university bears the expenses of the round-trip ticket from the country from which the student travels upon completing 50% of his study plan and according to the permitted times and in accordance with the university calendar announced by the university if he is enrolled to study there from abroad.

The university covers all expenses and procedures for visas, residencies and obtaining identity cards for students coming to study from outside the country.

Providing health insurance according to the policies and regulations adopted by the university for students accepted from outside the country

Providing housing for the beneficiary inside or outside the university in the city of Sharjah as decided by the university, if the beneficiary is coming to study from outside the country and is single or has no dependents inside the country, and the university does not bear any responsibility towards the beneficiary if he marries during his study period at the university.

The university provides transportation within the university campus only.

If the student does not arrive at the specified time, the arrival visa will be cancelled.

The university grants a travel ticket (one way only) from the country to the country of which the beneficiary holds citizenship if he is enrolled to study from abroad after graduation.

Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements for the Bachelor's Programs offered by the university:

General Conditions:

1- The years of study to obtain a high school diploma or its equivalent must not be less than 12 academic years, including three years in the secondary stage.

2- The secondary school certificate obtained by the student must be equivalent to the secondary school certificate issued by the United Arab Emirates.

3- In the event that the applicant does not obtain the required equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Education, the student will be granted conditional acceptance based on a letter of no objection issued by the Ministry of Education as follows:

- The duration of conditional acceptance shall be one semester or two semesters at most.

- During the conditional acceptance period, the student shall be registered in the qualifying courses specified in the letter of no objection issued by the Ministry, provided that they are not counted within the hours required to obtain a bachelor's degree or in the student's cumulative average.

- The student will be granted final acceptance if he obtains the equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Education, or successfully passes the required qualifying course, or successfully passes 24 credit hours (during the conditional acceptance period) of the requirements of the specialization in which he was accepted.

- In the event that the student does not meet any of the aforementioned conditions, the university has the right to cancel the student's acceptance.

4- The student must not have been previously dismissed from Al Qasimia University or another university or higher institute for disciplinary or academic reasons.

5- The date of obtaining the General Secondary Certificate or its equivalent must not have been more than two years.

6- The age of the applicant student must not be less than 16 years and not more than 20 years when applying to join the university.

7- Students will not be allowed to attend school before completing the required documents.

8- All admission applications are considered preliminary until their validity and compliance with the conditions are verified.

9- The student’s fulfillment of the admission requirements does not guarantee his/her acceptance, as the admission process depends on the admission policy and the university’s capacity according to the availability of resources.

10- Students are accepted according to the numbers decided to be accepted in each college. The preference in selecting students is based on the highest total, then the most recent graduate, then the youngest.

11- The applicant shall specify in the application the colleges arranged according to the priority of his desire to join any of them.

12- The university applies the admission criteria that approved the proficiency requirements in the subjects specified by the Ministry of Education for applicants to join the university.

13- The applicant must meet the proficiency requirements in the subjects of Arabic language (for native speakers), English language and mathematics (for students of the College of Economics and Administration) in one of the following ways:

Required Documents:

Original secondary school certificate.

Original transcripts of secondary school grades (tenth - eleventh - twelfth).

Authentication of all the aforementioned certificates by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country that issued the certificate, and the UAE Embassy in the relevant country. In the absence of a UAE Embassy in the country, they shall be authenticated by the embassy of one of the Arab countries operating in that country.

Translation of foreign certificates into Arabic or English, legal translation and authentication by the above-mentioned authorities.

Bring evidence of the recognition of the Ministry of Education in the country that issued the certificate by the institute or school that granted the General Secondary Certificate and that graduates of this institute or school can enroll in government universities in that country.

Translation of the passport into Arabic and authentication of the translated copy by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the student's country and the UAE Embassy therein.

A completed application for enrollment.

In case of applying to the College of Economics and Management, you must bring a valid TOEFL (IBT) score of 61 points or higher, or (CBT 173) points or higher, or (PBT 500) points or higher, or its international equivalent from an academic English language test (IELTS) with a score of no less than (5.0) or its equivalent in the Emirates Standardized Test (EMSAT) in English 1200 points and mathematics 600 points and Arabic 600 points. In case of applying to the College of Communication, you must bring a valid TOEFL (IBT) score of 45 points or higher, or (CBT 133) points or higher, or (PBT 450) points or higher, or its international equivalent from an academic English language test (IELTS) with a score of no less than (4.5), or its equivalent in the Emirates Standardized Test (EMSAT) in English 950 points and it is valid. The university does not bear the costs of the (IELTS) or TOEFL or Amasat exam.

A copy of the student's passport valid for a period of not less than two years.

12 recent colored personal photos (3x4) with a white background.

A criminal record certificate approved by the country of which the student is a national if he is a new student from outside the country stating his good conduct and behavior, valid and a legal translation of the data into Arabic and English.

A copy of the birth certificate or what indicates that and a legal translation of the data if the data is written in a language other than Arabic or English.

A health fitness certificate issued by a government hospital in the student's country stating that the student is free of all infectious diseases, certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the issuing country, provided that no more than three months have passed since obtaining it from the date of issuance.

Controls for the continuity of the scholarship: -

Registration in each semester and not dropping out of school.

The semester and cumulative average in the regular semester should not be less than 2.00 points

If the student's semester or cumulative average (for the regular semester) is less than 2.00 points, the scholarship controls and instructions apply.

The scholarship student is accepted at the university on the condition that he is fully dedicated to studying, and he is not entitled to work throughout his study period at the university. In the event of violating these instructions, the scholarship will be canceled.

Students enrolled in the intensive Arabic language program must successfully complete the program in one academic year (maximum) and then be assigned to one of the specializations offered by the university according to the admission requirements for each specialization and the available study seats. If he is unable to pass the program, the university's regulations will be applied in this regard.

Adherence to the university's regulations and laws, as well as the behavioral and ethical controls required by university life and community norms.

The student will not be allowed to leave the university or leave the country without prior permission from the university and with acceptable excuses.
