The Canadian University in Dubai Scholarship for the 2026-2027 academic year is a partially funded scholarship for international students. This scholarship is offered to undergraduate and graduate students only and covers up to 50% of tuition fees.

The Canadian University in Dubai (CUD) was established in 2006 to offer outstanding academic programs based on Canadian educational curricula and principles, and to provide a gateway for students to pursue higher education, research and employment opportunities in Canada.

Eligibility criteria for the Canadian University in Dubai scholarship

To qualify for the Canadian University in Dubai scholarship, the candidate must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Required language:  English.
  • Eligible countries:  All countries.
  • Scholarships are available to all students of any nationality who meet all admission requirements.
  • For the Financial Difficulties Scholarship, the number of academic courses students must enroll in will be considered on a case-by-case basis, although a minimum of four academic courses is recommended where possible.
  • Scholarships are awarded to students with financial difficulties for one semester only.
  • Students can reapply each semester to continue their scholarships.
  • Financial hardship grants do not apply to summer semesters
  • In order for high school applicants to be eligible, they must have a minimum academic achievement of 75%.
  • Returning students are required to achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 to be eligible to apply for or reapply for the Financial Difficulties Grant.
  • Successful applicants will be required to contribute up to 15 hours per month to community service as part of their commitment to the university.

How to apply for a scholarship at the Canadian University in Dubai?

  4. You will need to submit it along with all supporting documents:
    • Completed application form
    • Current lease
    • Bank statements
    • Employment certificate and salary statement for each working family member
    • A copy of the passport and visa for all working family members (or both parents)
    • Tuition fee certificates for each brother or sister
    • Note: All documents will be kept confidential. The scholarship committee will not consider any incomplete applications when awarding financial hardship grants.
