Doha Institute Scholarship 2025-2026 is a fully-funded scholarship for master’s studies for Qatari and international students. This scholarship will cover full tuition fees, accommodation, monthly stipend, health insurance, and two round-trip tickets to and from the home country upon arrival and after graduation.

Tamim Scholarship: These are scholarships based on merit and academic excellence, and are dedicated to the most distinguished Qatari and international students in the Arab world.

  • Students are not entitled to receive scholarship modification benefits or claim cash allowances for benefits they do not receive.
  • Scholarship Conditions: The legal status of students in the State of Qatar does not change except with the approval of the Institute.
  • To encourage academic excellence, the Institute may open the door for applying for this scholarship to students of the Institute who have obtained a degree of excellence after completing one academic year at the Institute.

Sanad Scholarship: These scholarships are based on the financial needs of the students and are intended for Qatari students, residents of Qatar and international students.

Eligibility Criteria for Doha Institute for Graduate Studies Scholarship

To qualify for a Doha Institute for Graduate Studies scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Required language : English and Arabic
  • - To be a Qatari citizen (or a Qatari mother).

Online Scholarships

Qatari applicant:

  • Obtaining an overall average of 80% or its equivalent in high school with a minimum of 80% in mathematics, English and science.
  • Valid high school certificate for the current or previous year.
  • English proficiency as follows:
    • TOEFL CBT score: 196, TOEFL iBT score: 70.
    • IELTS: 5.5 not less than 5 in each section (not less than 5.5 in writing and reading in each section).

Applicant with a Qatari mother:

  • Obtaining an overall average of 90% or equivalent in high school with a minimum of 90% in mathematics, English and science.
  • Valid high school certificate for the current or previous year.
  • English proficiency as follows:
    • TOEFL CBT score: 196, TOEFL iBT score: 70.
    • IELTS: 6 not less than 5.5 in each section (not less than 5.5 in writing and reading in each section).
    • Best Online Courses
  • Pass the company's medical test.
  • Get a certificate of good conduct.
  • For new high school students, you must complete National Service unless the university offer is from the list of universities approved for the Amiri Scholarship Program.
  • Accept the department and work location assigned to you by Qatar Airways.
  • - Passing the personal interview with the company.
  • Offer letter from a university in a field approved by the company. (Incorporation under a third party is not accepted)

How to apply for Doha Institute for Graduate Studies Scholarship?

Please follow the steps below to apply for this scholarship:

  1. Create a request on the institute’s admission portal .
  2. Applicants may submit only one application, duplicate applications will be disregarded.
  3. Applicants can save their application progress and apply in multiple sessions.
  4. Applicants are required to upload all application materials via the online portal.
  5. Applicants can request references online through the online application system.
  6. Referees receive the reference request automatically and can fill out reference forms online.
  7. Applicants can check the status of their references online and can remind the referee or create a new reference request even after submitting the application.

Eligible Document:

  • Identity Document: Passport for international applicants. Qatari ID for citizens and residents of Qatar.
  • University transcripts. Final year students must submit all transcripts they have received to date.
  • Graduation certificate or diploma for graduates.
  • CV
  • TOEFL or IELTS test results or an official statement showing that the degree was taught in English as the primary language of instruction.
  • Personal statement.
  • - Academic essay (for applicants to the College of Social Sciences and Humanities).

Admission Selection Process:

The Admissions Department ensures that all applicants meet the admission requirements and conditions, and all admission applications are evaluated according to the following steps:

1) Copy evaluation

The Admissions Department evaluates the submitted academic records to ensure that applicants have obtained the  minimum required grades mentioned in the attached table.

2) Academic evaluation

All applicants who pass the academic record evaluation stage are evaluated by the members of the Academic Evaluation Committee of their respective academic program. At this stage, the evaluation takes into account all documents and certificates submitted by the applicant such as academic records, CV, academic essay, personal statement and IELTS/TOEFL scores.

3) Interview evaluation

Applicants who pass the academic evaluation stage are invited to an interview with members of the Academic Evaluation Committee to discuss their academic interests. The committee evaluates the student’s personal, academic and research skills. Interviews are conducted face-to-face for students residing in Qatar and online for those residing outside Qatar.
