The Simons Kotzen University Scholarship 2026-2027 is a fully-funded scholarship for international students. This scholarship is offered for undergraduate studies and covers full tuition, mandatory fees, and housing and meals.

Bachelor's degrees

This scholarship covers full tuition, mandatory fees, room and board. An additional $3,000 annual grant is also awarded for study abroad, summer internships, short courses, or research support. The scholarship is awarded for four years of full-time undergraduate study and replaces any previous merit-based scholarship. Eligibility Criteria for the Kotzen Scholarship at Simmons University

Students applying for the Kotzen Scholarship at Simmons University must meet the following criteria:

Primary Education Certificate Scholarships Abroad

• Required language:  English.
• Eligible countries:  All countries of the world
• A standardized test score of 28 or higher (ACT), 1300 or higher (New SAT), or 1250 or higher (Old SAT CR+M). A minimum score of 600 on each SAT section is strongly recommended.
• Applying as a new student for the fall semester
• Non-native English speakers must submit TOEFL and SAT or ACT scores.
• A college preparatory curriculum that includes an advanced-level mathematics course during or before the senior year of high school
• GPA of 3.3 or higher, unweighted
• Register to take Honors, Advanced Placement (AP), and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, as available in their high school systems.

Please follow the application steps below to benefit from the Simons Kotzen University Scholarship:

Scholarships abroad

• Applicants must complete and submit the scholarship application and admission application to the college by December 1.
• Students must submit their essays and resume in PDF  or Word Doc format  via email to ugadm@simmons.edu with the subject line "Simmons Distinguished Scholar Award Application" by December 1. Each page of the document must include the student's full name and date of birth.
  • - Formal Essay (no more than 300-500 words): Write an essay describing your leadership style, giving specific examples to demonstrate the types of experiences that have shaped you as a leader, and the type of leader you believe you will become at Simmons.
• Interview: Finalists selected for the scholarship will be required to complete an on-campus interview, which will take place in February. If you are an international student and unable to come to campus, you may be interviewed via Skype.
