Those continuing their studies for a full doctorate at Polish doctoral schools are also not eligible , but short-term research visits are permitted.

The Swiss Scholarship Service will forward the applications to the Polish Embassy in Bern, which will select the candidates for the final round, which will be conducted by NAWA.

Final steps after nomination:

NAWA will contact selected applicants and ask them to register and submit their documents via the NAWA Academic Exchange IT system.

  • Applicants must arrange admission or invitation independently with a host university or Polish research centre.
  • NAWA does not facilitate university admission.
