International Science Scholarship:

  • Scholarship value: US$3000.
  • Scholarship payments are subject to the scholarship recipient fulfilling
    the obligations outlined above, as applicable, which must be met by the payment date.
  • The University of Queensland will pay scholarship winners their dues after the academic statistics date in
    the first semester of study.
  • The University of Queensland will transfer the amount to the Australian bank account specified by each beneficiary.

University of Queensland Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship

  • Grant value: $12,000 annually, for up to 5 years

Eligibility criteria for University of Queensland scholarships

To qualify for the University of Queensland International Student Scholarship, candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Required languages:  English
  • Eligible countries:  All countries of the world

International Science Scholarship:

  • The student must be eligible to be classified as an international student in Australia.
  • By the scholarship deadline, all necessary documentation must be submitted to meet the conditions associated with an offer from the University of Queensland for an accredited program, including proof of academic qualifications and any additional requirements specified in the scholarship guidelines.
  • He demonstrated outstanding academic performance in his application to the University of Queensland program.
  • To be enrolled in a program run by the Faculty of Science at the University of Queensland; and the program must be of more than one year (full-time).
  • Registration for the first semester at the University of Queensland.
  • If you are already enrolled at the University of Queensland and wish to change programs, you will not be eligible for
    these scholarships.
  • Students enrolled in non-accredited programs, study abroad programs, or student exchange programs are not eligible.
  • Each scholarship recipient must:
    • Commence studies in the semester specified in their acceptance letter from the University of Queensland.
    • Make every effort to complete their degree program. •
    Allow the University of Queensland to publish their name, photograph, and degree program name, identifying
    them as a scholarship recipient.
    • Submit a certificate and photograph suitable for publication.

University of Queensland Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship

  • Achieve the minimum college admission average (ATAR) of 99.90 (or equivalent).
  • You must have completed your twelfth year in 2025 or 2024, if you are in a break year.
  • One of the following two things: an Australian citizen or a holder of an Australian humanitarian permanent residence visa;
  • The applicant may be a permanent resident of Australia, a New Zealand citizen, or an international student who is currently completing or has completed years 11 and 12 in Australia.
  • He has not completed any previous university studies other than what was part of Year 11-12 studies (such as the Enhanced Studies Program).
