University of Eastern Finland UEF Scholarship 2025 Fully Funded Study and Living

Applications for the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) Scholarship for the academic year 2025 are now open. International students from all over the world can apply for undergraduate and master’s programmes at the University of Eastern Finland. There are approximately 500 places available for students in 25 programmes . Non-EU citizens can apply for scholarships offered by the University of Eastern Finland. Studies in these programmes will start in the autumn of 2025. The University of Eastern Finland boasts a diverse student body, welcoming around 2,000 international students from over 100 countries. Financial benefits

There are three types of scholarships available to non-EU citizens:

  • UEF Scholarship: 100% tuition fee waiver
  • Tuition Waiver: Up to 50% of tuition fees
  • Finnish language proficiency tuition fee waivers: applied for while studying at UEF.
  • Note : Study is free for Finnish citizens, all EU/EEA citizens and Switzerland.

Eligibility Criteria

  • International and Finnish citizens can apply.
  • Applicants must have completed their secondary education.
  • Finnish and international applicants with a relevant Bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for admission to Master's degree programmes.
  • Meet the requirements of the specific program.

English language requirements

An English language test is not required if the applicant has completed a bachelor’s degree from a university located in:
