Webster University Vienna Private Scholarships are of the following types:
Webster Vienna Scholarships: This scholarship provides up to €7,000 per academic year for a Master's degree and up to €10,000 per academic year for a Bachelor's degree.
Borealis Social Grant: This grant covers €21,000 of tuition fees per academic year.
Borealis Excellence Award : This scholarship provides an award of €10,000 per academic year.
Eligibility Criteria for Webster University Vienna Special Scholarships
To qualify for the Webster University Vienna Special Scholarship, a candidate must meet all of the following requirements:
- Required language: English
- Eligible countries: All countries of the world
Webster Vienna Scholarships:
- Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- You must have a minimum English proficiency of B2.
- You must have a financial need.
- You should write a good article and recommendations.
- You must be a newly admitted undergraduate student starting in Fall 2022.
Borealis Social Grant:
- Eligible students must have achieved a cumulative academic GPA (grade point average) between 3.5 and 4.0 on a 4.0 scale;
- The student must be admitted to the undergraduate program according to the standard admission requirements of Webster University Vienna Private;
- The scholarship applicant must be enrolled full-time and can begin their first year of study in the fall semester of 2024;
- Proof of a student's English language proficiency is critical: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), IELTS, or Cambridge Advanced Certificate (CAE) scores are required prior to admission if the student is not proven to be a native English speaker; and
- Students admitted during the probationary period or those who need to take ESLG (English as a Second Language) classes are not eligible.
Borealis Excellence Award :
- Eligible students must demonstrate outstanding academic excellence and must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) between 3.8 and 4.0 (on a 4.0 scale) after completing their first year at Webster Vienna;
- Extracurricular activities related to studies (competitions, events, meetings, etc.) will be evaluated during the selection process;
- The student must be admitted to the undergraduate program according to the standard admission requirements of Webster University Vienna Private; and
- The scholarship applicant must be enrolled full-time. Full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.
How to apply for Webster University Vienna scholarships?
Please follow the instructions below to apply for this scholarship:
(1) Please request the online scholarship application form to begin your scholarship application from the Admissions Office or Scholarship Coordinator .
(2) You will be required to upload the following documents, which we recommend you prepare before you start filling out the online application form:
- Your acceptance letter, to prove your acceptance into the full degree program
- Financial Motivation Letter. This letter is written by the applicant, explaining their financial situation, how the scholarship will contribute to their education, and why they are eligible. Click here to provide it.
- Official financial documents (officially translated into English if not already in English) such as payslips, employer or pension confirmations of net income. All amounts must be stated in euros (iEURUR). If not, please convert the amounts to euros (intEURUR) and indicate the exchange rate used. Bank statements are not accepted. If self-employed, please provide company information and an official letter stating net income (iEURUR).
