University of Winnipeg Scholarships 2025-2026 are partially funded scholarships for international students. There are 53 scholarships available this year. These scholarships are offered for undergraduate, masters and diploma studies. The value of these scholarships ranges from $3,500 to  $5,000 . 

The University of Winnipeg is pleased to announce the creation of 53 new scholarships for international students entering the University of Winnipeg for the first time. The University of Winnipeg is a vibrant campus and downtown hub that connects people from diverse cultures and nurtures citizens from around the world.

The University of Winnipeg offers high-quality undergraduate and graduate programs, including several programs unique to Western Canada, such as the Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights and the Master of Indigenous Development Practice. Winnipeg graduates value their educational experience, and the University of Winnipeg is consistently ranked highly for its overall reputation, small class sizes, academic excellence, and environmental engagement in Indigenous studies.

Please follow the instructions below to avail the University of Winnipeg scholarship:

1. Download the application procedure form  and read it carefully.
2. Complete the application in full, incomplete applications will not be considered.
3. Attach the following additional required documents:
   • Personal statement
   • A resume that outlines activities that demonstrate leadership.
   • Two letters of recommendation in English
   • Note : Letters of recommendation should highlight your character, accomplishments, and the ways in which you are a leader in your school or community. Letters of recommendation can be emailed directly to our office or included in your application package.
   • Online Scholarships

1. Scan your entire application package into one PDF file.
   • Don't have a scanner? We recommend using a scanner app on your smartphone if available.
   • Make sure all scanned pages are combined into one PDF file.
