The Government of Belgium is pleased to announce that applications for the Master Mind Scholarship 2026/27 are now open. This fully funded program invites students from across the globe to pursue a Master’s degree in the Flanders and Brussels regions. Funded by the Flemish Ministry of Education and Training, the scholarship is tenable at five universities and seven universities of applied sciences and arts. There is no application fee, and each participating institution may nominate up to 20 candidates. True to the motto, “Belgium, where great minds grow,” this initiative aims to promote international academic excellence. Eligibility Criteria
- The Scholarship is open to Nationals of all countries.
- You can only take up a master’s degree program under a master mind scholarship.
- The student has a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 out of 4.0.
- An overall minimum band score of 7.0 on the IELTS test or 94 on a TOEFL test.
- Online language tests of IELTS and TOEFL will also be accepted:

How to Apply for the Belgium Master Mind Scholarship 2026?
- Eligibility and Participation Check: First, verify that you meet the eligibility criteria for the Master Mind Scholarships.
- Application to Host Institution: Submit your application for your desired program directly to the Flemish host institution before their specified internal deadline.
- Host Institution Preselection: The host institution will review all eligible applications and preselect candidates for the Master Mind Scholarship.
- Scholarship Application Initiation: If you are preselected, the host institution will initiate the official Master Mind Scholarship application on your behalf using the Mobility-Online application tool.
- Notification of Preselection: You will receive an email notification generated by the Mobility-Online system confirming that you have been preselected for the Master Mind Scholarship.
