Eligibility criteria for King Fahd University scholarship

To qualify for a King Fahd University scholarship, the candidate must meet all of the following requirements:

• Required languages:  English (For the Master of Business Administration: the minimum score in the TOEFL IBT test is 70/120, and in the IELTS test it is 6.0/9.0).
• Eligible countries: All countries.
• A four-year bachelor’s degree and a two-year master’s degree (for PhD applicants) from a recognized institution are required.
• The minimum GPA is 3.00 (for scholarship students) and 2.5 (for non-scholarship students) out of 4.00.
• The minimum required GPA for MBA students is 3.0 out of 4.00.
• MBA students are required to have at least one year of full-time work experience.

(2) After submitting a complete online application, mandatory documents must be uploaded before the deadlines through  the upload system using the same login ID and PIN code that was created for the online application.

• A copy of the identity document (passport for international applicants / national identity card for Saudi citizens / residence permit for residents in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
• Full official copies of the Bachelor's degree certificate (and Master's degree certificate in the case of applying for a PhD).
• Statement of Purpose (a one-page essay focusing on the professional and research goals at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals).
• Letters of recommendation from academic reviewers are sent via the electronic recommendation system after the application is submitted online.
• Bachelor's degree certificates (and Master's degree certificates in the case of applying for a PhD) will be awarded if the degrees are awarded.
