Maynooth University Master's Scholarships are now open. Sixty Master's scholarships will be awarded to students across all disciplines in recognition of academic excellence. These scholarships will be awarded to the most qualified applicants, ranked separately within each department or institute, based on the highest overall scores in their final-year examinations.

Eligibility criteria for Maynooth University Scholarships
To be eligible for Maynooth University scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Required language: English or Chinese
- Eligible countries: All countries of the world
- Applicants must intend to pursue a full-time master's degree at the University starting in the 2025 academic year.
- Meet the entry requirements for a Masters programme taught by Maynooth University which they intend to enter in 2025 and have applied at www.pac.ie on
- All applicants must have a Bachelor's degree with honours and a minimum GPA of 2.1 to be considered for a taught Master's scholarship.
- Applicants who are not Maynooth University graduates will be required to upload their final undergraduate transcripts for a Level 8 Bachelor's degree to PAC.ie as part of the standard PAC.ie application process for the Taught Master's programme at Maynooth University by 30 June 2025.
- In the relevant section of the online scholarship application, applicants who have been awarded a student scholarship for their final year of undergraduate studies must provide evidence of their undergraduate scholarship award, as this will be taken into account when two applicants are ranked equally in their final year grades.
- Graduates or current students of PhD or MA programs are not eligible to apply. Students interested in research programs should apply for the John and Pat Hume Doctoral Research Awards at Maynooth University.
