The winners receive a monthly stipend paid for by the Russian Federation, free early admission at any Russian university, and no entrance exams or tuition fees.

This is the seventh edition of the Open Doors Russia Scholarship project in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

• International students can apply for the Bachelor, Master, PhD, or Post Doctoral programmes.
• You must have completed a Bachelors Degree programme.
• All candidates must submit all the required documents.

How to Apply for the Open Doors Russian Government Scholarship 2025?

Step-by-Step Application Process for the Open Doors Bachelors, Masters, and PhD and Postdoctoral Track:

1. Register by creating an account.
2. Portfolio Filling and take the entrance test available in your account. Please attach all important documents, such as papers, certificates, and awards, to increase your chances of selection.
3. You can not edit the Portfolio after the deadline.
4. After the Result announcement of the Portfolio, winners will be invited to solve the second stage.
5. After the evaluation of the second stage and interview, winners will be selected to study for free in Russia.

Selection of the Universities

If the top-priority university does not offer the study programme of your choice, your application will be transferred to the following university of your priority. When registering for participation, you can choose 1 to 6 universities.
