Application Requirements

• Official university transcripts are required.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Statement of purpose, about 750 words
• Three letters of recommendation
• Official TOEFL or IELTS Academic score
• GRE if available, else not compulsory.
• You do not need a faculty advisor before applying.

Eligibility Criteria

• Anyone from any country can apply. The KAUST Scholarship is open to nationals of all the countries.
• Meet the Admission requirements. There is no separate application required for the scholarship. All admitted students will receive the KAUST Scholarship.
• Upload all the required documents.
• 6.5 minimum bands required for IELTS.
• 79 Score on the TOEFL.
• Admission into a Master’s programme requires completion of an Undergraduate degree, and admission into a PhD programme requires completion of an Undergraduate and Master’s.
• A TOEFL or IELTS score is not required if the applicant received a degree from an accredited institution in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. Check the KAUST Entry Requirements.

Spring 2025 Admission is only open to MS/PhD track and PhD applicants.

Applications received after this deadline will be automatically transferred into Round 2 for Fall 2025.
