Applications are now open for the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2025 program . This is an international summer program offered by Google . In this program, Google awards grants to contributors who complete a free and open source software development project. Students and new developers from around the world will work on a 12-week programming project with an open source organization under the supervision of a mentor. Each intern will receive a stipend for completing the project. The stipend ranges from $3,000 to $6,000 . The stipend amount is calculated based on the intern's location. Applications for the Tsinghua SIGS Global Summer School 2025 in China are now open . It is a fully-funded summer school organized and funded by Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS). The duration of the SIGS Summer School is one week . Participants will arrive in Shenzhen, China, and will spend one week from June 22 to June 28, 2025. There is no application fee and candidates from all over the world are welcome to apply. The purpose of this program is to provide a valuable and enriching experience for international students through lectures, field visits, group discussions, field trips, and exploring the history and beauty of China.
