Job Description:

Overview

We are looking for a skilled bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in building and brickwork, demonstrating proficiency in the use of hand and power tools. This role will involve working on a variety of construction projects, ensuring all construction work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.

Tasks

• Laying bricks, blocks, and other types of building units according to specifications.
• Building walls, arches, and other structures using bricks and mortar.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure accurate installation.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other craftsmen, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety protocols to reduce risks on the job site.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with building codes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction and brickwork.

Proficiency in the use of power tools and hand tools related to the trade.

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Knowledge of welding techniques is helpful but not necessary.

Experience in roofing tasks is a plus.

Extreme attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

Good physical fitness, as the role requires lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
