We are looking for a commercial server with a great personality to join our team and provide high-quality service with confidence and flair! A favorite destination for locals and visitors alike, we pride ourselves on our high-quality food and beverages, along with exceptional customer service. The duties of a commercial server include: · Setting up and arranging tables; · Taking reservations, greeting customers, and presenting menus and drinks; · Recommending dishes and wines to complement the food (especially in fine dining establishments); · Taking and conveying orders to kitchen and bar staff; Serving food and drinks; · Opening bottles and pouring drinks, including mixing wines and assisting in the cellar; · Clearing tables and returning plates and cutlery to the kitchen; · Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, refilling and replacing glasses; · Collecting payments for sales and operating POS machines and cash registers. · Minimum 2 years' experience · Skill level 4 · A positive and happy person to work alongside · Ability to build rapport with all customers, especially local residents · Ability to smoothly direct large numbers of guests in a friendly and courteous manner · High performance and quick thinking in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about providing a great customer experience. Previous cash handling experience. Adherence to occupational health and safety regulations and legislation. Adherence to Ember policies and procedures. Ensuring job execution is carried out in line with safe working practices. Focused on results. Always striving to improve venue services.
