Overview:

Carmel High School is seeking a passionate and experienced Arabic language teacher to join our World Languages ​​Department. You will work to create a dynamic learning environment, promote cultural awareness, and help students develop Arabic language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and implement engaging lesson plans that are aligned with national and local standards.
• Teaching Arabic language and culture to students of varying skill levels.
• Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Integrating technology and multimedia to enhance the educational process.
• Promoting cultural understanding and appreciation of Arabic-speaking countries.
• Maintain order in the classroom and create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues in developing school curricula and activities.
• Continuous communication with parents about student progress.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Arabic language, education, or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching at the secondary level (preferred).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to providing an inclusive and culturally responsive classroom.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Arabic as a mother tongue or close to it.
• Experience with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of language assessment tools and technology integration.
