Applications are now open for the 2025 UNESCO World Heritage Young Professionals Forum in Paris, France . This is the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee. The Forum will be held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris from 1 to 8 July 2025. The Forum is open to candidates from all over the world . There is no application fee, and UNESCO will cover all expenses, including flights, accommodation, food, visa, and transportation. The main objective of the UNESCO World Heritage Young Professionals Forum is to enhance young professionals' understanding of the protection, conservation, and enhancement of natural and cultural heritage through the implementation of emerging technologies. UNESCO will select approximately 25 young professionals from diverse backgrounds. More details below.

“World Heritage in an Interconnected World: Leveraging Digital Technologies and Innovative Approaches.”
- Young professionals will learn how to protect and share important historical places (World Heritage) in today's rapidly changing world.
- Young professionals will learn and exchange ideas on how new technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, digital maps, and drones can help keep these places safe and educate people about them.
- They will also discuss finding new and creative ways to manage these places so that they will remain around for future generations.
Eligibility criteria
- Nationality : Open to all citizens.
- Age: 23 to 32 years (born between June 30, 1993 and June 30, 2002, inclusive).
- Experience: in architecture, archaeology, restoration, urban planning, art history, or heritage studies.
- Digital skills: Knowledge or experience in digital technologies related to World Heritage.
- Motivation: They have the motivation and commitment to implement the Forum outcomes in their home countries.
- Community Participation: Commitment to enhancing community participation in the management of World Heritage sites.
- Availability: Available throughout the forum.
- Language proficiency: Proficiency in English and/or French (as the forum will be conducted in these languages).
