The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) program contributes to peace and development through volunteer work around the world. We work with partners to integrate qualified and motivated UN Volunteers into development programming and to promote the value and recognition of volunteer work by the global community.

Financing and financial benefits

Volunteers receive a living allowance that covers basic expenses, travel expenses, and a settlement allowance, in addition to health insurance.

Applicants must be between 18 and 55 years old, with at least two years of professional experience and fluency in English, Spanish or French.
