  • Applicants must contribute to the development of their home countries: The Manakee New Zealand Scholarship aims to invest in the education of citizens of developing countries, empowering them to make a positive impact on their nations' development by sharing the new skills and knowledge they acquire during their scholarship. The scholarship provider expects recipients to contribute to the social or economic development of their home countries for at least two years after completing their studies. Applicants must have resided in their home country for two years prior to applying. Preference will be given to applicants who can clearly explain, on the application form, how they intend to contribute to the social and economic development of their home countries after completing their scholarship.
  • Residency requirements: Applicants must reside in their home country for two years before commencing their studies.
  • Academic Requirements and English Proficiency: As part of the Manakee New Zealand Scholarship application process, you must select your preferred educational institution and program of study. Applicants do not need to submit applications to their chosen institution and program of study until they have been notified that they are a preferred candidate.
